    lol @ ASAP. Anyway. Many time there can be an install Android app that holds the camera. You haven't said if there was any kind of error messages or anything. Have you rebooted your phone?

    Yes rebooted it many times, by removing battery and holding down volume keys. I don't understand why everything else works, just keep getting multicolored lines on the screen when the camera app is launched.

    Front camera actually works...but the rear camera shows lines and takes pictures of rainbow horizontal lines. I even installed a new camera app but still showed the same thing. How can I fix this?
