They would place them as End of Life at some point.

You wake up one morning and your BlackBerry will be running Android.
After a couple of months promising to bring the new Blandroid OS to old devices to sell off any old stock, they'll announce how the phones don't have the specs to run it and announce them EOL.
Please keep use BB10 first generation, they will keep update more native apps.
