Guide to switching from a Q10 to Key 2 LE

Hi All,
My very first post despite being here for yrs.
I just got a key2 le after much heartache in deciding from following the K1 and waiting etc... My k2 le is still in the box as I try to cull some more info before use

I'll appreciate some advice on transitioning with the following:
* Best way to transfer contacts pics, sms(maybe) etc. [I don't use any cloud backup services nor do I want to if I can avoid it]. Concerned more about contacts

* General tips on stock apps to trash and/or apps to consider for general use [I text and call mainly and love the idea of the locker app and password manager]. I recall a thread mentioning installing some app to enable better texting so that pressing the enter button sends a sms. Just can't find it. Anything to minimize the effect of Google on my k2 le.

* Anything else -- I know this is a lot an open-ended. Waited so long for this and now info overload is sort of creeping in...

Best way... is to use the cloud with BlackBerry Content Transfer.

For contacts, there were some Contact Backup Apps that would allow you to manually export and then import your contacts.

Lots of info here, just might need to take more time to search for it.
