    I added the Google Play Store using Cobalt's apks and also have added Snap. Both work successfully and I can use most apps that I've downloaded. The one app I really need on my phone is Google Hangouts.

    I've tried downloading different apks, including several patched ones and one that was linked from this forum that looked like it would've worked, but then it said I needed to update it and when I tried to do so from the Play Store, it said it couldn't install the program.

    Does anyone have any patched versions that works?

    you won't be able to use hangouts without a higher version of Android runtime.
