I have a bunch of. Mobi books on a thumb drive. I tried dragging anf dropping these onto my BlackBerry in several different places such as book, documents and link drop.

However, the files won't open on my BlackBerry. I have the Kindle app installed. I remember doing the same with my legacy device and being able to read these.

I just cannot remember how to do it. Any help? Thanks!

What reader did you use on your legacy device? Might it be OS 10? I could not get several items that worked on my 9900 to work on my Q10. Now I have a Nook and use Overdrive for library books (apps both uploaded via Snap). They have worked flawlessly.

I had Kindle on the legacy 9930. From what I remember I could access the Kindle app on the BlackBerry using Mass Storage Mode and then drag and drop into it. I couldn't figure of how to do that on my Q10 yet.

Have you tried uploading what is on the thumb drive to a file and loading to your device via link. I had to do the for some of my photos.

Sorry, left some details out. Uploading the thumb drive data to a file on you desktop then downloading it to your Q10 via BlackBerry link?

I've used the Kobo app to open these pre-Android RE era. I can confirm those work.

I've had Overdrive account since 2012 for a Samsung S2 originally but not on my 9900 (yes, I strayed from the flock before learning my lesson) so I cannot say how it works for legacy device transitions. I got the app via the Snap app for downloading android apps. Snap is very easty to side load. Lots of help on Crackberry and the web. When I fired it up on my Q10 and signed into my account everything worked like a charm.

I know someone with a Z30 that did that for some of her book apps (do not know if they were Mobi) and it worked for her also.

Yes. I couldn't seem to drop the file from my desktop onto the BlackBerry using sync. I didn't see a books file. Only documents.

    This worked perfectly! Thank you!!

Actually what I did was drag and drop 10 book from my PC onto my BlackBerry all at once. Saved in document. Then from there, on the BlackBerry itself, emailed them to my Kindle send to!
