I noticed that on my blackberry classic as soon as I plug in the phone to charge it, the FM radio stops and it says it can't detect the headphones. Then I unplug the headphones and the usb cable and reboot the phone and plug just the headphones back in and fire up the radio and it works until I plug in my usb charging cable again. Does anyone know why it would do this? The phone was only at 80% when I plugged the charging cable while listening to the radio, I only wanted to keep the battery up so it wouldn't drain while I am listening to the radio.

Do you have a sound event associated with plugging in the USB cable for charging?
Some third-party apps allow for that. However, it might stop whatever other sound is playing at the time.
However, that doesn't explain why your earphones stop working until a reboot. Run a diagnostics on the sound with BBVE app, please.
