How to delete devices in the file manager on blackberry z10?
Posted via CB10
I have never been able to delete devices. I find they drop off the list when I reload an OS.
So, hopeless?(((

Like what devices?
For ex. Paired PCs through the BlackBerry Link or cloud services etc.

I would think you would have to remove the connection. You just don't like them being listed?
Connection no more, but device still in the list. Also this device has been removed from the BlackBerry Link settings. Just want to remove it you're right.

I see no way to remove them. Would think if they aren't available they wouldn't show in the list.
Long hold, then delete from BlackBerry Link in Settings, then uninstall Link from the computer you delete from your device. Or you can do it in reverse.

Ah. In the file manager I tried a long hold and nothing happened. Nice to know.
If you delete them from your paired devices they'll be removed from the file manager

Actually No. Show me screenshot of your devices list from file manager.

I did it right when I sent the screenshot....
I deleted my work one and it disappeared from my file manager. I'm 100% sure it works.

Shorter to go straight into Settings -> BlackBerry Link (10.2.2.xxxx and prior) or Device Connections (10.3.x.xxxx). That's where your method takes you.

Anyway I've found another way to solve. If you delete device in the blackberry link on your PC and in the z10 settings > blackberry link devices list and then restart the phone) it will dissappear. Thanks to all of you.

But, what about cloud services, how to remove them? )))

For Dropbox, Box, and/or Onedrive, just delete the apps that you connected to the services with - Connect to Dropbox, Connect to Onedrive, and Box. This is done via BlackBerry World -> My Apps and Games -> Installed (or search for the app), tap the overflow button, delete.
You can also delete them if you open Device Monitor and scroll to find them from any tab, if you tap to open there's an option to delete or close the app (will not delete) at the bottom.
