    I read an article the other night about a lot of fake cell towers has anyone heard of this?
    I read that no one seems to know who owns or operate them but usually near military bases.
    I will find the article and post the link to it.
    I read is can intercept phone calls and text messages and even upload malware to phones.

    My question is with the new software secrusmart (sp) will the passport stop it?

    I think I read about it on infowars.. Cell towers dressed like a tree! lol

    The editor contacted the company that manufactured the towers and they admit it's their product but they refused to say who is utilizing them.

    Search here for some information. There is a thread about them. The issue is not that they are fake but unidentified. It is unknown who,is operating them and so,if you phone locks on to one of them your security may be at risk.
