Wow thanks! The messenger works fine but the facebook app says that I have a newer version. I have no installed FB app and I also deleted all the other FB apk I downloaded before.

Have you updated your Android Runtime through BBW?

Reboot after install.

Once you fix the problem, you can properly delete the prior Facebook installation by using Ghost Commander from BBW.
