Experience with Backuptrans? | Transfer WhatsApp chats from BB Leap to iPhone

Hi,

I am currently trying to transfer WhatsApp chats from my BackBerry Leap (Blackberry OS 10.3.3.3216 = Android-Runtime 4.3) to an iPhone using the software offered by Backuptrans.

I followed their tutorial, but unfortunately access is denied when I try to backup (option "Copy data") with "Backuptrans WA Sync - version 3.1.18" as well as when I try to connect the BB with the "Backuptrans Android WhatsApp to iPhone Transfer" software installed on Windows desktop via wi-fi (using "Backuptrans WA Sync - version 3.1.18").

As Backuptrans Support isn't really of assistance I wonder whether one of you guys has experiences with the mentioned software and maybe can give some advice on special settings I should add to the BB?

I get your logic in thinking Blackberry OS 10.3.3.3216 = Android-Runtime 4.3 and therefore Backuptrans will do it, but that's not how it works. Backuptrans is never going to recognize your Leap as an Android device and you'll have to find an alternative method not using incompatible app solutions.
