i tired purchasing applications from appworld but everytime i try to save my card info, i get this error.there is a problem with your credit card authorization,error i.d 12000i have tried 4 to 5 different visa cards but everytime i get the same error.

Try adding your credit card through BlackBerry World website accessed from a PC, it worked for me long time ago, think it was with PayPal I had issue though.

Can one use a debit card? Credit card, yes..but I haven't heard of a debit card being possible.

Debit cards won't work. Been through it also. Only credit card and pay pay work. Those two I have used. Good luck.
That's not the main issue here, I'm just stuck at bypassing payments
