    Question if it is dangerous to activate the development mode on my BB Z340 to install Android app?
    I am having some fear of infections via android ..

    You are not required to switch on development mode to install android apps. You need to check installation from other sources in App Manager (from Settings).

    To mitigate possible risks: Only install apps from reputed publishers and/or who you may trust, like Google. Also, get your apk files directly from Google play.
