If you are using Z3 or Q5, autoloader will be a better choice.
    Just back up everything.

Here is the link to Thurask's archive:

Download to PC, unzip, plug in phone, run.

Your device will be wiped like you just took it out of the box.

You'll need a PC to do it...

Have you tired doing an update with LINK?
Using an autoloader is pretty easy, but it is destructive. http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...loader-927076/
Sachesi isn't too hard and it's not destructive http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...taller-825409/

Doesn't that mean he is out of onboard storage?

    Option 1:
Plug device into laptop, open BlackBerry Link, update from there

    Option 2:
Security Wipe, plug device into laptop, open BlackBerry Link, update from there

OTA in general is not the greatest way to update. As you have experienced, it requires additional storage space which in the end is not used. There is also a Auto-Loader option but that's pretty much the same as option

The gentleman doesn't have enough storage which some of you overlooked. Some people got it right for him to wipe it or remove what he is not using in order to make room available for the update.

Just delete some files. You need 1.2GB of free device storage (not SD card) to get it done! No need to wipe.
