I have just stepped up from Torch 9810 to DTEK60. I used the syncing function between my PC and 9810 for Outlook contacts, calendar and notes. Is there a way to continue to do this with the DTEK60?

The BBOS Outlook sync feature is a relic from the days when POP email was the only option available and accessing email on multiple devices was a novelty. Android has matured in the era of inexpensive storage and much more sophisticated email protocols, such as ActiveSync. I hear of people still using the feature and it brings to mind images of the old serial port cradles early BlackBerry devices required.

You may be able to find an application to sync your data, but long-term your best option is to use an email service that syncs your contacts and calendar for you.

If you want to sync your Office Outlook Calendar and Contacts to your DTEK60 the best way is sync through Outlook.com. It provides automatic two way sync'ing and you always have a current backup.
