Just bought the new DTEK60, real nice phone, cannot connect to my wifi, error message is "authentication problem", have tried all the usual things, turn airplane mode off/on, turn mobile hotspot on/off, turn my router off/on, modify network, forget network, static selection, restart phone etc etc. any extra advice would be much appreciated so i can start using the phone (PS, is a sim card required for wifi to connect, i wouldn't have thought so)

Hmmm try this change your wifi password to 10 digits and reconnect again

Perhaps there is a defect with the phone also? Maybe something is wring with the WiFi radio within it? Have you tried any other networks at a cafe or other place that has free WiFi, or a friend or relative's house? Also does YOUR WiFI connect ok to other devices? You don't have any special settings on the router right such as MAC filtering?
