Have a DTEK 50, and would like to get one for my wife. However, would like to wait a week or so if a sale is anticipated.

Absolutely! I'm sure it will it's the same concept for every phone. When the G5 came out the g4 dropped a lot. When the note7 came out price dropped on the note5. When the s7 came out price dropped on the s6 and so on. That's usually how it works. I would definitely wait about a week or two after release.

I'd have to agree with my above poster for sure. They sure do tend to drop when a newer model is released. Isn't that how it's always been??/:

The DTEK60 does not replace the DTEK50. Much like the Nexus 5X and 6P, they are concurrent products.

Ah I see. Well even then we don't know for sure. There could always be chances for a loss or drop in the market price. I guess you can either get it now and pay the price or wait to find out..
