I don't know your device. I have a Z 30 with lot's of issues after regular update. I used the autoloader and it fixed a lot of the issues. No clue when the next regular update will come. For me autoloader worked quite well.

I, much the same as the other poster, waited for the official update on my Passport and was sad to find that it came with a few bugs (some rather sever). So, I have since used an autoloader and it fixed almost all of the issues.

what about using search? really handy function.

Downloading latest leak/official version as ZIP (best way - search for BLITZ in the forum
extract all folder to anywhere on pc

    launch Sachesi 2.0 and newer
    connect you phone with cable
    go to install tab
drag n drop the extracted folder onto sachesi install tab

leave everything about 1 hr (can make a good curry)

Yes, it's safe. Just unzip it and click on the .exe file with your device connected to the computer. As it's a destructive upgrade, you will need to back-up your device.

If you guy non-destructive way via sachesi - you have everything as it was.
If you go via autoloaders (exe files) it will be full wipe and fresh install.

In both ways it is recommended to backup with Link before process and it is better not to restore from old version if you update via autoloader.

You will not have restore if you'll go via sachesi

I find that autoloader is the best for people who are unsure as they can do this in one shot. And then restore.
