    I am planning to buy a google #chromecast or any similar miracasting device for my TV. But firstly I want to make sure if my #BlackBerryQ10 supports screen casting. And if yes, up to what extent. When I go to WiFi settings I see #Miracast. Will it work for my tv?

    I have chromecast2 and it does not work for me . I also installed google cast apk but you need to be logged in via google services to use this app..

    Q10 supports Miracast.

    Chromecast is possible, but takes a bit of work.

    I use Miracast on the Q10 and Passport, but with the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. Haven't tried the ChromeCast.

    I use a chromecast with a BB Passport, Z30 & Z10. The only drawback for me is that chromecast doesn't allow for pure screen mirroring. It's all youtube or nothing basically. There is a way to hack it by long path browsing in the chrome browser address field to cast non youtube sites, but not exactly 007. Buying a miracast today so I can screen mirror for real.

    Best one is the Microsoft Wireless Display adapter.
    other one which works well is NetGear PTV3000
