As a volunteer fire fighter I only receive calls from I'm responding app and if the Classic does not have push I need to go to another system.

Every device to date (BlackBerry or not) supports push. It depends on your email provider.

I'm gonna assume you use a competent one, then there's not gonna be a problem.

BIS-style push is really a thing of the past, irrelevant to today's world (unless you use a crappy email provider, again).

I guess to date phone has push email feature (not some androids). My BB Z3 has push email.
    I use gmail and yahoo.
I don't think yahoo support push mail for free account. But gmail, yes. The push feature works flawlessly.
