Does anyone know what the panel on the top of the Keyone is for?

Hi. Loving my Keyone! But I'm slightly intrigued on what the panel on the very top of the phone is for next to the headphone jack.
There is a little hole in the middle of it and I was contemplating poking my Sim tray opener in there but Im not that stupid and thought I'd see if anyone knew what it is before I go poking things in there!
I have trawled the t-internet for an answer but I can find no information about it.
