Have you actually tried it because that sounds incorrect. There's nothing specific about it that would stop it from working on Priv or DTEK devices. That sounds like some customer service BS or read without full understanding answer.

Any BBOS/BB10 product, though. The Priv/DTEKs are full-fledged Android smartphones; Square or some other setup that's compatible with Android will work.

Again, Paypal is not a credit card reader.

I have paypal with the "paypal here" card reader. The type of business I run is not eligible to use there merchant services because it is considered a high risk business. But it does work with bb10. I had to switch to square. It works but the square register app is very laggy

Yes, I have been using Square Card Reader great system on my Z10,Z30,Passport.. have not tried on my Priv yet.. I will do that after I post this, check it out.. SquareUp dot com site. UPdate, just downloaded the Square Register from Playstore, installed, inserted the card reader dongle., made a charge, Works Great.. Not slow Works Perfect.. Go For it..
