    I upgraded my Z30 to 10.3.2.2876 today via Link and after restarting a new symbol appeared next to wifi.

    To me, it looks like wifi calling, but as far as I am aware, the Z30 doesn't support it. Just in case, I set my e911 address in the Tmobile profile, but it didn't seem to have any effect, even after restarting the phone again.

    So I guess my real question is: what is this symbol, and why is it there?

    All BlackBerry phones are capable of wifi calling as long as they have the proper OS and a carrier that supports the feature. I am able to use wifi calling on my Z30 on T-Mobile. But not on the. 2876 OS. Works fine on 10.3.2.2813. You can replace your current radio file with. 2814 and it will work that way too.

    Hopefully Centreman's suggestions can help you take advantage of it.
    Not sure however if the WiFi calling app from BBW is required.

    The wifi calling app is only needed to switch the capability on and off and to select a few priority options. If you search the forums you will find links to the actual app bar file.

    It looks like that update fixed my call lag and volume button lag that a lot of z30s seem to be plagued with
