Why do they not have a page that in detail tells you how to switch devices that are already BB10 os? Step by step like when to move your sim over and sd card. All using blackberry link. Some say it's better to use a current backup and restore the new blackberry so duplicates are not made.
Then how and when do you Re download all your apps from blackberry world. Stuff like that.

If you restore a backup you don't need to download all your apps again, that's the point

OP. I fully agree with you.
Contrary to what some people say, I just backed up and restored to another Z30
    The apps are not restored.

If you Re download your apps from BlackBerry World, they are listed under "available " and then restore your data, apps with data attached will be restored.

Not sure if this applies to device switch or not but if someone knows the answer I for one would like to know.

And still detailed processes would be welcome.

Open Link, select switch devices, follow on screen prompts. Done.
