    What error message do you get?

    And to be clear, are you referring to the BlackBerry Desktop, or device software?

    I am trying to install desktop software so I can backup my playbook and access the backups I already have.
    I did not get an error this time, but when I tried a few months ago the error was 1723.

    It should work fine. Not sure what other issues you may be having on your windows box.

    Try removing all BlackBerry software, rebooting, and then reinstalling.

    Windows give error when its being download. Can't understand why BlackBerry driver are not in windows whitelist
