I updated my Q10 (model 2853) to 10.3.3.1463. All date are wiped out. I am trying the Blackberryfix to retrieve data but I get the message 'fix is not applicable for this device'.
Is there anything else I can do? I searched for blackberryfix updates but found nothing.
    Thank you

How did you perform the update?

Thank you conite for your interest!! I updated through blackberry link, not from the device itself

Update. I clicked on 'check for updates'.

First off, if the info is gone off the device, it's gone.

Unless you have a backup, there is little else you can do.

I rely on the cloud, so loss, theft, and lack of backups is only a small annoyance for me.

I did that 4 weeks ago. If I am wrong to what I told you and let's say I did that through 'OS reload', would that be different to retrieve?

No. It sounds like it was an OS reload the whole time which wipes the device and loads the OS as if for a fresh start.

Thank you both joeldf and conite. So, I have to quit my search for retrieving. It was a silly fault to click update without back up first. Some people that told me afterwards that the device keeps the info when updating, they are wrong.

    "Update" yes, "reload" no.

Judging by the results, you selected the latter.

Hopefully you didn't lose much. Now use the cloud!!
