I bought a Naztech wireless charger, which was recommended by Crackberry, for my new Priv. After just 10-15 minutes charging, the back of the phone was very hot. I'm worried about leaving the phone overnight on the charging pad!

My bigger concern would be a dying battery.
Even if it wasn't dangerous - you would kill your battery way faster.

Heat shortens the life cycles of a Lithium Ion battery massively.
They don't like getting hotter then about ~90°F / ~35°C.
If you "cook" them often, it will die about twice as fast....

Some "golden rules" for a long living lithium ion battery:
1.) Avoid heat or extreme cold.
2.) Try to keep them "in the middle", the love being between 30%-80% charged.
If you permanently keep them below or above that level - it will cost life circles.
3.) Never do short time charging - which means less than 15min.
4.) Don't recharge above 70% - it will stress the battery.
5.) Recharge when the level drops below ~30% - lower levels also will stress the cells in the battery.

Bad handling will give you between 300-500 charging cycles.
Good handling will give you between 1000-1500 cycles.
Which makes a lot of difference - if you battery has full capacity 1 year or up to 5 years...

Maybe we must consider buying a new battery right now. (Either for the passport) if they weren't so expensive compare to other phones majors brands...
