Does anyone know if you can or how customize ringtones for individual contacts on the Key2? I figured out how to do the actual phone ringtone. It's annoying to hear the same sound for every contact on my phone. Thanks for any help

Yes you can. In the contacts app click on the contact you want change. Go to edit (pencil icon) then click on the 3 dots at the top right. In the menu should be an option to set the ring tone.

No..... It only worked for setting a custom ring tone for calls but not texts.

Yes. Open the text messaging app, select the contact and hit the three dots top right. Choose notification sound and the choices appear.
I have also set up certain callers mostly family with my own sounds using my Morse code eye and radio 📻 . I have spelled out there names using the code so I know who's calling without looking at the phone. It just takes a bit of tinkering around.

First: Go to the Google play store and download ringtone maker. pay for the ad free version. worth it.

Second: It should search for all music or sound related files automatically, and list them. if not, click on the three bars in the top left corner and a drop down box will appear, then click scan.

Third: Find the ringtone you want to use. Then click the three dots to the right of it. A box will open up, then click assign to contact. Your contact list will pop up, then click on the contact you want to assign the music/ringtone to.






You can also add text tones and ringtones to the list that comes stock with your Blackberry or Android
Go to your settings under sound.
click on either phone ringtone or default notification sound to bring up the sound menu
scroll to the bottom, click on add ringtone.
a window will open, then click on the three bars in the top left hand corner.
a drop down box will open up, choose ringtone maker, then choose the text or ringtone to add to the stock list.

The two I made as you can see. is the score from the original Superman movie. and my text tone is when Thor yells out. Bring Me Thanos.
