copy pictures from Q10 to Mac

How can I copy pictures from my Q10 to my Mac? it only randomly copied a few via blackberry link..

Activate mass storage mode and copy them that way.

I found link worked better when I opened I tunes and iphoto prior to plugging in my Q10 and opening link.
