With the Passport, and the Classic how will one cope with freeze ups if you cant pull the battery? I know Apple products dont have battery removal but they dont freeze up either. With my Curve it seems I have to pull the battery at least monthly, either I cant access the browser, or I cant open emails, or the camera doesnt work. These things are restored with a battery pull.

As with the Z30, freeze ups are rare. But if it does happen, a simple reboot does the trick.

How do you reboot, if you cant pull the battery? I mean, thats how I have been doing it. Turning off the phone and restarting doesnt seem to do it.

All you have to do is hold down both the up and down volume keys until the phone restarts.

And if you're like me and you don't like having your phone take a screenshot every time you do the volume buttons method, you can also press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds until you see BlackBerry on the screen (making sure to ignore anything that appears before that).

    Cheers.
