Converting REM file to normal JPEG on the PC (without phone)?

I have already sold my BB Bold 9700. Had transferred the .rem pictures on my laptop. Now wondering how do i access the pictures. Please help.

You can't. The reason for this is that it is encrypted. That format is when you encrypt your phone. What ever you get is converted to rem so that only the device that encrypted it can open it.

As mentioned already, you don't access the files any more. Might as well clear up some disk space and delete them.
