    Go into Contacts and swipe down from the top to bring the Settings option. Tap on it. Then make sure under Show Account in Contact List "SIM Card Contacts" is turned on.

    it is turned ON but still it shows no sim contacts

    In that Settings screen, also make sure that you have imported contacts from SIM card. I guess this is an extra step required.
