    I did a security wipe on my passport, up loaded all the new software, install all apps including Colbalt's playstore. Contacts are fine. Turn off phone and they are gone.

    Haha! Maybe. Hard way to get them to come back though. Are they all coming from your email accounts though? If so, might need to delete and re-add your accounts again to force the sync.

    That's my thinking, might be the google side. so I turned off google sync and will try again....standby..lol

    nope double up on ones that came back..update.......data transfer shows 120 contacts but only 5 show up?

    Bla1ze thank you for the input, I reloaded the contacts and it now seems to be fine.....Must be the BB gods getting pi**ed that I will not change over from OS 10. My last resort would have been a Priest !
