Max Contact Manager (likely by fault of my own), has linked 459 contacts to one. I've tried to load the contact's "links" page, but nothing shows. I'm guessing the process is not designed to handle hundreds of links.

Is there any way besides restoring from backup to fix the issue?

Reverting to a backup may be a good solution.

But, there may be another possibility. The new OS 10.3.1.1016 that just dropped yesterday has a new feature in Contacts: "Unmerge Existing Contacts". I used this to break all my existing linked contacts and it worked well. What I don't know is whether or not it would deal with that 459 linked to one. Theoretically, it could.

So, if you're feeling adventurous, you could run a new backup then give it a try. I admit it's a long shot.
