I am constantly 'surfing the forums' to get a definitive answer... I have read that one person says it works... but no one seems to be able to say if it can actually work on the Z10 running the latest OS. If a 'sideloaded' android apps can run, is there a 'work-around' to the square??? Has anyone actually had any success???

I'm so sorry, but what in the name of God are you talking about when you're talking about a square?

I don't know about Square, but Paypal Here "sorta" works. You can use it to do sales, but while the card reader is detected, I've yet to get it to work. So I have to input the information (and pay the slightly higher fee) .

L_ieven -- I personally find it offensive when someone uses God's name in vain...don't think the forums are the place for such profanity! BTW... if you don't know what I am talking about Why did you bother replying in the first place!?! DoH!!

I've never heard of "the square". But if you were more specific with what you were trying to do, then you would have less curious ignorant folks like me pass thru here. Obviously this is some kind of android payment collection app or something... maybe you could add that context to title.

If you mean foursquare, we have a native BlackBerry 10 app for it. http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/6921

If you mean this app (link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...squareup&hl=en ) you will have to side load it. I'm not sure if the app will work though. Anyway, use the Snap app (recommended. Link: http://m.crackberry.com/how-use-snap...roid-apk-files ) or an apk download website (e.g. http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ ) to download it. Good luck.

Square works for me but sometimes I get a blank screen after a purchase goes through instead of a successful screen message. Not sure if it works on the z10 but works on my Q10. Used it a few times but had to call them to make sure that it finalized the sale. I also loaded the square app thru snap

Chase Paymentech android app downloads & works perfectly with manual input of Credit Card info. Their card reader does not work. They do not charge extra for manual entry of card. All transactions are the same cost.

Square is one of the most popular mobile payment systems to date. Simply search for Square card reader.
