    Completed the factory reset as he was unable to download anything. now asking for BBid. when entered it states unable to connect. Please make sure that you have the current date and time set and try again 50507. how can this be done when we have no setting option

    There is a problem at BlackBerrys' end and they're actively working on a fix. Might want to read through this thread;

    If you can get past the initial setup screen, manually set the date back a day or two and try again, if you can't get past the setup screen you'll have to hang in there for a bit until they have things straightened out.
