    Is it possible to change the text message default background colour from white to whatever? You can change it on other android devices that I've used in the past.

    You can't change the background in the stock app. But, there are many Android SMS apps in the Google Play store that do allow it.

    You'll get many recommendations -- mine is Textra. You can customize it like crazy.
