I recently bought a PlayBook from ebay, but whenever I try to use location based services and apps it thinks that I'm either in Toronto, Canada or it says that I can't be located. Eg, when I tried to sign into my Google account I got an email saying that someone had tried to use my password in Canada. As a result I haven't been able to sign into youtube, Gmail, Google docs etc. Moreover, I can't really use maps either because it either doesn't know where I am or it thinks I'm in Canada.

Is there a way to change this?

Are you bridged to a BlackBerry phone with your PlayBook? I've only seen this happen when that was the case. The PlayBook would be getting its data via the BlackBerry's BIS, which are servers in Canada. The fix is to use wi-fi and have location services on.
