Hey Conite! I am hoping you can help. my brother bought CDMA phone to work on Verizon. It wasn't directly from Verizon( got it on Amazon) worked fine for over 3 weeks but I believe that he got security patch from BlackBerry and not Verizon. His phone doesn't work now. (Presume it is because the patch is for May and my phone is still March security. Any way to uninstall the security patch?

Any way to stop these updates due to the Verizon delay? Do it manually?

The autoloaders typically come out a couple of weeks AFTER the OTA update.

I'm not sure what happened in this case.

How a ROW update was pushed to a Verizon device is bizarre and unprecedented.

What OS build is on the device right now?

He bought the device on Amazon and it was advertised as a GSM/CDMA phone that would work on Verizon. I don't have the phone with me but I remember it was AL something. Different from my Verizon branded phone. So he must be getting the updates pushed from BB but it has the Verizon SIM card in it.
