This is brand new Z3, and I went to device monitor trying to delete the apps but all are default blackberry that don't allow to be deleted, how am i going to free up the space ? I did use Blackberry Link on Mac , but the installation just halted by itself after downloading the update. I repeated this process 4 times and still the same, any other way?

Goto www.blackberry.com and use the update smartphone link. (Make sure to use IE or Firefox)

That is a rather destructive way to do it. The update link on the website will use an autoloader type of update. Have had this successful on Q5's and Z3's with the low storage.
