    The account seems to have a fault, will only receive emails. It is pop and i don't want to loose message by trying to re install it?

    If you re install you wont lose your message its in the server

    Go to the provider's web page and make sure that the SMTP server or port haven't changed and then edit the appropriate setting on the existing account. Also make sure that your password is up to date and entered correctly.
