    I had no problem until I changed my plan and access control appeared on it. I thought it was a 8250 but having seen blackberry's video on it it talked about "my 9320". I'm now totally confused and fed up with not being allowed to access some sites.

    You should be able to tell exactly what model BlackBerry you have via the Settings / About menu or you can remove the battery cover and battery to see what it says on the sticker.
    As for the access controls appearing when you changed your plan, it may be something your carrier pushed. Contact them.
    You are not on a BES service, right?
