    Hi All,

My blackberry experience is limited so I thought I would throw this open to all of you folk in regards to a privacy query.

If I have one of these encrypted BBs (Phantom-secure-p9320-blackberry-curve) can someone else impersonate me on another similar device?

    1. Is the encrypted messaging ID of the BB user tied to the SIM?
    2. Can I use someone elses credentials for encrypted messaging on my device?

    Thank you in advance

The PGP handsets are heavily modified to use a poorly implemented form of encryption. You're likely wiser to look for a different solution for keeping your messages safe.
