Forgot I had a BB playbook. Just wondering if it can be used as a tablet for say email or just to access the internet? What are the security risks? Or is it just junk?

It can still access the internet but the native browser (and other native and converted android browser apps) are very clunky nowadays. It's fairly painful to use imo. Email, media play with Kalemsoft, Nobex, or Neutron are still viable. Music is decent especially with the excellent speakers. Current apps being used are: https://forums.crackberry.com/playbo.../#post13458400

As far as security, imo it doesn't really matter since no banking, paypal or ANY other sensitive data apps can be used anyway. Anyone using it today basically uses it for the odd game, music files only.

Donate it to somebody. I have a fleet of Playbooks that I accumulated over the years and I lend them out to seniors who have never had any tech and this gives them a basic experience that excites them.

It's a pretty awful Web appliance but an excellent media player (for downloaded media).
