I dropped my Key2 down the toilet (fortunately before I had performed) and the backlight went dim then died completely, so I would assume it is frazzled and beyond repair. Plenty of shops claim they can fix all phones, but does anyone know if it is even possible to get a backlight replacement or am I wasting my time and money trying?

Probably involves a full keyboard replacement, not just the light.

You're pretty lucky if only the backlighting stopped working and you still have a fully functional keyboard and spacebar.

I know, right? Space bar is gnarly but it's always been iffy. Can't believe my luck tbh.

Okay great, happy with a full keyboard replacement. Just relieved something can be done as texting in the dark is practically impossible!

I agree to replace it if you really need the backlighting.

But I'd keep the one that's on right now as a spare since it inputs every letter and a space AND fingerprint
