Can I use NFC to transfer a file from BB Z30 to an Android phone?

Can I use NFC to transfer a file from BB Z30 to an android phone.

I wanted to transfer some pictures and was able to do it between two blackberrys Z10 Z30 with no problem all be it somewhat slow.
But when I tried to transfer to a Samsung 4 something or other it just kept on rotating without any success. What's up with that?

I do it with a droid RAZR max and both my Z And Q with no problems. Just be sure the S4 has NFC enabled.

You need to make sure that your bluetooth connection on the android phone is on and paired. Tagging the NFC sensor only triggers a bluetooth transfer.
