    On the BB10 Facebook app, I'd like to have the messages integrated into the hub but not the other notifications (so for example, only get the LED flashing when there is a message). Is this possible?

    Yes I think it's possible.. go to settings > accounts > Facebook and turn off "Enable Notifications"
