I have a Torch that is so old, I need a new Blackberry. I was planning on getting a Classic, but don't feel like waiting until its available at AT&T. Don't think I need any new features, my old BB is fine with me (just use it for emails, occasional calls, very occasional photos).

If I can get one, I'd rather just get a Torch or Bold - a new one, not a used one. On Blackberry's site, they have links to buying Bolds on Amazon. And they are a lot cheaper ($130) than the Classic or Q10. Any reason I shouldn't buy a Bold from Amazon?

The Amazon ones are going to be through third party sellers and therefore not have any warranty that BB's going to honor. Also if you're on AT&T, you'd want to make sure you get the UMTS 850/1900/2100 variant, although I don't think that should be a problem as it's the more common of the two variants.
