    I purchased a Z10 online from Shop Blackberry (USA) in July, well actually my son did

    The phone has gone completely dead and won't boot up .... blank (black) screen, no lights.

    The phone is not physically damaged in any way. I have changed the battery for a known good one, I have connected it to Link via my computer and the device is not 'seen'. I have connected it to the computer with no battery in it ... all of these trials produced nothing.

    I want to return it for repair but I can't find anywhere on the Shop Blackberry site explaining the return/repair procedure ... any one know how I should go about it?

    It seems that he (my son) should take it to his carriers store, T Mobile (even though he's a pre-pay customer) and they will arrange fixing.
    Does this sound right? .... I ask cos this isn't what I'd do in the UK, here we could only take it back to the store where the handset was purchased.
