Hi there - I hope you guys can help!!!!
I have an old blackberry that had whatsapp installed on it. I have the phone but not the original sim. Is there any way possible I can recover the whatsapp data on the phone??
This may sound like a silly question, but who knows what can be done with modern tech!!!!

I don't know, you might want to ask the whatsapp dev. But I think it's unlikely, unless that version had a backup option and you used it..
The way our message database encryption works on legacy BlackBerry OS, the message data can only be read by our app on that specific device. So if you can get our app running again on that phone, you can probably export conversations using the "Email Chat History" option. Otherwise, you're unfortunately out of luck.
