[CrackBerry Question]

Hi, I am continuing to have a problem when I try to add a Yahoo.ca eamil account to my Blackberry Classic.
Anyone else having this issue? All my gmail account work properly, Yahoo.ca just doesn't seem to work.

As well, is there not a way to add accounts via the Blackberry Blend application?

I don't think there is a way to set up email through Blend. Have you been able to set up this email at all?

If you go to accounts, add account, email account, you can then click on the bottom to go to the advanced options.

From there, you can choose "Yahoo!" and it will fill the necessary info for you.

Go to the Yahoo Account Info page using your desktop pc
(Mobile only) tap the Menu icon .
Click Account Security.
select manage app password
select other app from the list
then enter your device name e.g blackberry
then click generate
A password would be generated which you would use as your new yahoo mail password
for your blackberry device during your configuration. cheers!
